Sarah is a singer and actress from Edinburgh, Scotland. She has a background in Musical Theatre and graduated with a BA hons degree in the subject from the University of the West of Scotland in 2014. She has a wide variety of different musical tastes from jazz to musical theatre and from folk to rock and roll and a little bit of everything in between. Her main inspirations come from performers such as Doris Day, Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks and loves performing different styles of music. Her love of Doris Day inspired her to create her show ‘The Music of Doris Day’ which she has since performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Big Burns Supper Festival in Dumfries and the Penge Festival, London.
Sarah is passionate about the benefit that music can bring to the lives of others, in particular those with dementia and their families. A large part of the work Sarah does involves singing in care homes where she performs a variety of genres of music including 40s, 50s, 60s, jazz and musical theatre. She also performs a selection of Scottish music for Burns Night and St Andrews Day.
Wherever the venue and whatever the event, Sarah always performs to a high standard and looks forward to creating a bespoke set list of music suitable to the requirements.
