Sweet Memories of Doris Day at The Shed Glasgow
"The show, which was produced in association with Tram Direct, will feature stories about Doris’ life and renditions of some of her most popular songs, including Que Sera Sera and Sentimental Journey. Sarah explains: “As Doris recorded so many great songs, the hardest thing was choosing which ones to include in the show. In the end, I decided to include as many different ones as we could to ensure that there was something in there for everyone.”

“A lovely voice and a nice gentle way to start your day at the fringe.”
“Wonderful way to start the day. Full of classic songs performed by a great wee singer. Hard to believe it’s her first festival show.”
“A wonderful performance by a very talented lady. The usual Doris Day songs were mixed with songs I didn't even know she had recorded.”
“A lovely trip down memory lane and a fantastic voice very professional and a lovely lady.”
“Really interesting and informative show beautifully sung and performed! Definitely worth seeing!”
“If you like Doris Day, you'll like this. If you don't know Doris Day, you'll be converted. Sarah has created a highly polished act that beautifully couples a selection of Doris Day's songs with background on her life and career. The singing was seamless and true to the era, the outfits were innovative and the sing-alongs were a wonderful trip down memory lane for many. I cannot recommend this enough.”
Performance at Cluny Lodge Care Home Edinburgh
"Once again, we were delightfully entertained by Ms Golden Tonsils - Sarah Laing. Sarah is becoming a regular feature at Elder Homes, we all love her easy style and the warm atmosphere she creates... welcoming everyone (residents, their visitors and many staff too) to join in with her stylish song choices. Today we were treated to some of the jazz greats. Even people that don`t usually `treat` us to their dulcet tones were singing along.
What a wee treasure!" (Taken from News Page on www.carehomeedinburgh.co.uk)
Performance at Medica CPD Ltd
